Pricing
Can I try Kanga for free?
Yes, It’s easy to get started on Kanga! Just provide a few pieces of information to create an account, and you can start planning and conducting therapy right away!
How do I purchase a Premier or Elite license?
After signing up for your free account, email our support team at asksupport@presence.com to upgrade to a Premier or Elite license.
What features are available in the free plan?
The free plan gives access to all the platform’s main features, including caseload management, session documentation, and 240 minutes of room therapy use.
How is the 240 minutes/month counted on the free plan?
The “counter” starts when you begin a therapy session in the room and stops when you end the session. Otherwise, planning activities such as building your queue or caseload management do not count towards your monthly minutes.
What happens if I use up my 240 minutes on the free plan?
Your therapy room will display your remaining minutes for the current month. When you’ve used all 240 minutes, you will no longer be able to conduct therapy sessions in the room. However, you will still have access to other features such as caseload management, documentation, and lesson planning with content from our extensive library.
Is there training on how to use Kanga?
You will have access to our Help Center for resources and support articles on how to use Kanga. For our Premier and Elite license holders, additional resources are available to you, including live training, enrichment courses, office hours, and clinical consultation. You’ll receive information on these resources once you’re signed up for our Premier or Elite plans.
How do I upgrade from the free plan to Premier or Elite?
Email asksupport@presence.com to upgrade your license. You can also upgrade by contacting our client support team via chat in your therapy room.
Will my information be transferred if I upgrade?
Presence does not store or track your information on the free plan, so your information will not be transferred when you upgrade. However, if you upgrade from Premier to Elite, your information will be maintained and transferred to your Elite plan.
How do I cancel my Kanga plan?
We’re sorry to see you go! But if you must, email asksupport@presence.com, and they’ll help cancel your plan. For annual plans, contact our support team to cancel your license at least 30 days before your plan renews.

What is Kanga?
Kanga is an evolution of Presence’s proprietary platform, previously known as Therapy Essentials. We’ve adapted the platform to better serve the needs of clinicians who work in schools, private practices, staffing agencies, and higher education institutions.
Is Kanga the same therapy platform that your Presence providers use to conduct virtual therapy with my organization?
Kanga is not the same platform that our Presence providers use to conduct therapy with your organization. That platform is known as the Presence platform.
How do I get access to Kanga for my organization?
As an individual user, you can sign up to try Kanga for free on our website. You can upgrade and purchase up to 9 licenses by emailing support (asksupport@presence.com). If you are part of a school or agency, you can fill out this form and someone from Presence will contact you and set you up.
Is the Kanga platform HIPAA compliant?
Yes, Kanga is HIPAA and FERPA compliant.
